Defense Base Act Workers Compensation Insurance (DBA) has been thrust into the spotlight over the last ten years when defense contractors began working outside the United States on US military contracts.  DBA insurance is a federally mandated workers compensation policy that covers civilian employees while working outside the U.S under a government contract and/or while on foreign U.S. military bases.
